Jack Osborne, owner of Tidewater Machine Company, Inc., has been a machinist all his life, formerly employed in the machine shop at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Indian Head, Maryland. In 1988, he began Tidewater Machine Company, Inc., in his backyard garage. Quickly outgrowing the garage, he moved the shop to White Plains at its present location.
